These tools are made of a special nylon polymer that is hard enough to get the case open but not hard enough to crack and chip the acrylic front case. These are the same tools that come with our battery kits and are preferred by iPod mechanics worldwide. These tools come two per set. If you open your iPod's case with anything else, you do so at your own peril.
