This hi-capacity 3300mAh aftermarket battery is roughly twice the thickness of the original 1100mAh battery that came with your Dell Axim X50/X50v but offers THREE TIMES the capacity of the original. There are no modifications needed to your Axim or the charger to take advantage of this added capacity battery, it comes with a new battery door to accomidate the larger battery. This extended capacity is a MUST if you are using WiFi networking or are out of the office and away from the charger for extended periods of time. Please take note, this battery does increase the thickness of your Axim and cannot fit into most available leather/aluminum cases on the market.
